Parade of Lights Snow Globe

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in a snow globe? Spend an enchanted time in winter wonderland inside the Orpheum Theater’s own snow globe featuring indoor sledding, snow ball throwing, and ice fishing. Sounds of the season will float through the air from local radio personality, Diane Ducey.

After a couple of runs down the snow hill, return to the Orpheum’s mezzanine for hot chocolate, treats, and crafts. To top it all, experience a theatrical storytelling of the classic Christmas tale, “Within the Cloak of Christmas.” This story was written by a local author, and is sure to charm audiences of all ages. Throughout the night, additional performances include Bolkada Conde’s Children’s African drumming troupe.

Join us for the annual After-the-Parade of Lights Celebration at the Orpheum Children’s Science Museum where the merriment of storytelling, sledding, crafting, and drumming.
