The Venue
This venue offers a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, and private parties. The Orpheum Theatre is a one-third scale model of the opera house at Versailles, which was constructed for the wedding of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Many of the original features are newly restored to their former opulence, including the gilded ornamental plaster and vaulted ceilings that distinguish its French Renaissance and Baroque design.

Rental Packages
4-Day Rental
Ideal for wedding receptions.
Includes:
- Load-in on Fri. (9 am - 5 pm);
- Event on Sat. (5:30 pm - 12 am);
- Load-out on Sun. (12 pm - 6 pm);
- Load-out on Mon. (10 am - 5 pm).
3-Day Rental
Ideal for large events on a dime.
Includes:
- Load-in on Fri. (9 am - 5 pm);
- Event on Sat. (5:30 pm - 12 am);
- Load-out on Sun. (12pm - 6pm).
2-day Rental
Ideal for large parties or events.
Includes:
- Load-in & event (4 pm - 11 pm);
- Load-out next day (12 pm - 6 pm).
Accommodations
- Private use of second-floor boardroom and private restroom.
- FREE wireless internet.
- Use of marquee for event postings (and the perfect photo op).
- A staff person available on-site during the event for assistance.
- Tables and chairs may be used at no additional fee upon request.
Considerations
- Use of the museum for an additional fee.
- Use of our PA system for an additional fee and damage deposit.
- Private parking (21 E Washington) may be rented from the City of Champaign.
- Additional fee if rental falls on a holiday (including load-in and load-out days).
- 10% discount for non-profits and community organizations.
