Current Opportunities

The Orpheum relies on its enthusiastic team of volunteers to help accomplish its mission. Volunteer opportunities come in all shapes and sizes, depending on the interests and skills of the volunteers and the needs of the museum. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities coming up.

Promotions

Do you have a knack for social media, website management, graphic design, public relations, or similar skills? If so, then this is the team for you. You will help market the museum through promotions and will work with Ashley Gregory, our Operations Coordinator.

Education

You can engage with children through educational programs, camps and clubs, teaching, and more. There are plenty of opportunities to design curricula, implement programs, or assist Alex Dour, our Education Coordinator.

Events

There are so many special events and ongoing programs that are only possible with the help of volunteers. Some of our traditional events include Snow Globe, Noon Day Drop, and Archaeology Day, among others. Volunteers will work with Ashley Gregory, our Operations Coordinator.

Exhibits

Most of our exhibits were designed and constructed by volunteers and student groups. You can help maintain and improve our exhibits like the Critter Corner, Archaeology Field Station, Butterfly Garden, and so much more. Volunteers will work Alex Dour, our Education Coordinator, and other volunteers.

Facilities

In order to keep up our facility looking fresh and clean, we need volunteers like you to help. Volunteers who know their way around construction equipment, tools, and painting are especially valuable. If interested, you will work with Ashley Gregory, our Operations Coordinator.

Clerical

For those interested in helping behind the scenes with our dedicated staff, then look no further. Volunteers excited about administrative tasks like organizing supplies, proofreading, and communications are welcome here. Volunteers will work with Ashley Gregory, our Operations Coordinator.
